1st page on Google for keyword: “Make Money Blogging”

This is just an update on the whole SEO thing I have been working on. I managed to get this blog on the 1st page of Google results for the keyword “Make Money Blogging”. Here is the screen shot from earlier today:
It appears on the 5th spot of the page.

I observed that the results vary when using google.ca and goggle.com but only by a page. I don’t think that my blog will stay on the first page for too long…thousands of sites are competing for those same spots. What is nice to know is that what I have been doing is somehow working. All this has been achieved with a few daily tasks of plain and very simple SEO.

    With "Make Money Blogging" being so common, having your site as top 5 is indeed an achievement!

    Well I havent done anything more than what I have posted on the pages of this blog. Submit to directories, write articles, I got a few reviews...You can find everything in posts under the SEO category.

    I will incorporate some tips on this post when I have some free time.

    I am happy about this as well. What counts is that I got it o the first page....I was trying for almost a month now. Now the next step will be to maintain it on the first page. I am thinking of writing a huge post about Making money Blogging that will give search engines one more reason to index.

    Hi josh,

    Thats pretty good. Now you have to find particular keywords you want to rank high in and start doing some work there as well.
